The Tennessee Titans have wrapped up the final day of mandatory minicamp and are now starting their extended break until the end of July when the team reports to training camp.
While the young players saw an uptick in reps over the three days to help speed up their development, one veteran quietly had a solid minicamp and looks much improved heading into the 2025 season: quarterback Will Levis. Although it appears to be a foregone conclusion that Cam Ward will eventually be announced as the starter, Levis will not go quietly and will compete until the end.

By all accounts, Levis has had a good offseason, even singled out by head coach Brian Callahan for the work he has put in and the improvements in his game. After another solid practice that included a highlight-reel 55-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Oliver, Levis spoke with reporters and discussed minicamp and how he feels.
“I thought that the consistency.” He said, “I think accuracy, ball placement, timing, rhythm; it’s the best it’s been in my career.”
These thoughts are not only held by Levis, many observers pointed out the consistency in his mechanics that have been visible throughout OTAs after spending time with quarterback guru Jordan Palmer during the offseason. While his rep-share was down with the Titans focusing on speeding up Cam Ward’s development, Levis consistently took advantage of his opportunities.

Levis has the tools teams look for in their quarterbacks, and it will be fun to watch this competition play out through the rest of the offseason. One thing is for certain, Tennessee has two talented young quarterbacks and it will be intriguing to see how they handle the situation during training camp.
