When it comes to Cincinnati Bengals undrafted free agents, offensive lineman Seth McLaughlin was arguably the most popular with fans.
That’s not too shocking…and not just because McLaughlin played college ball at Ohio State last year.

No, McLaughlin was widely hailed as a guy who would’ve been drafted if he hadn’t suffered an injury, to the point he could have possibly been a mid-rounder with a chance to eventually earn a starting job.
So, how’s the injury going?

Bengals radio announcer Dan Hoard provided an update:
It still seems likely the Bengals won’t rush McLaughlin back onto the field. It’s one thing to be cleared and another thing to go all out and be ready to fight to make an NFL roster.
But as Bengals fans surely understand, the interior of the offensive line is a major issue for the team in 2025 and beyond. Even if McLaughlin comes along slow this year, team and player could benefit from his arrival over time.
