Rodgers’ Steelers ‘Worst Team in NFL’ Rants Disgraced TV Troll originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ signing of four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers is not a no-brainer and is not without controversy.

The 41-year-old quarterback is a faded talent and a polarizing figure, making this move a magnet for critics …
And for trolls.
Enter Skip Bayless.
In a video posted to his social media platform, the shamed ex-TV shock jock Bayless – now out of work as he is accused in a lawsuit by a former FS1 collegue of offering her $1.5 million to have sex with him – characterizes Rodgers as a “diva” who is “washed.”
Bayless then offered a childish pun, claiming Rodgers would “steal from the Steelers.”
And then the unemployed 72-year-old’s attempted bombshell, offered with the transparent desire to get someone to notice him …

“Aaron Rodgers,” Bayless said, “makes them one of worst, if not THE worst team in the NFL.
Those of us who know Bayless personally understand not to take him seriously; he doesn’t know if a football is blown up or stuffed.
That doesn’t make all of his opinions wrong, though.
After sustaining a season-ending injury in the first game of 2023, Rodgers appeared in all 17 New York Jets games in 2024 as he totaled 3,897 passing yards and 28 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. …
While “leading” the Jets to a 5-12 record before being dumped into free agency.
Conversely, the Steelers finished last season with a 10-7 record and made the playoffs under long-time head coach Mike Tomlin, who has never finished a regular season with a losing record.

The idea that Rodgers is going to turn Pittsburgh into “the worst team in the NFL” is completely devoid of sports logic … but par for the course for a “washed” media personality who is done “stealing” money from networks, advertisers and viewers.
