Now that the Cardinals have concluded minicamp and their offseason program, a look at what we learned.
The Arizona Cardinals are done with their offseason program and off until the start of training camp. They completed their three days of mandatory minicamp this week after two weeks of Phase 1 strength and conditioning workouts, three weeks of Phase 2 football work and two weeks of OTAs.
The Cardinals had great participation and overall good health, from what we know.
But what can we take away from the offseason work the Cardinals had?

While a handful of players were limited in action in practices, by and large, it was all players coming off of injuries last season. They avoided any new injuries, which is key. It appears that every one should be ready to go once training camp roles around in a few weeks.
No drama
Everyone was in attendance when they needed to be. No one said anything outlandish. There have been no contract issues. Since Jonathan Gannon became head coach, offseason work has been steadily boring, the way it should be.
Youngsters bulking up
The Cardinals’ 2024 rookie class has come into the offseason program bigger and stronger. Receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and defensive lineman Darius Robinson came in noticeably yoked. Running back Trey Benson said he added about seven pounds of bulk in the offseason and guard Isaiah Adams has gotten stronger as he is on track to be the starting right guard.
Impressive defensive depth
This is from their moves in free agency. The defensive line runs eight deep right now with a mix of proven veterans and promising high-end youth. The outside linebacker room went now is Josh Sweat, Zaven Collins, BJ Ojulari, Baron Browning plus youth!
Kyler Murray locked in
Now in Year 3 in this program, he knows he is entering his prime and now is expecting wins and even Super Bowls. You have to love it.
