Offseason programs wrapped up this past week for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team will now break and then reconvene in five or so weeks for training camp.
So, given what we now know, what might the Jaguars’ final 53-man roster look like?

OTAs and minicamp, in particular, give us our first glimpse of team drills where players are able to stand out, and that can help us get a better idea of where things stand.
With that said, it’s also important to note that the pads aren’t on, and as Liam Coen described during OTAs, the Jaguars are in the “learning phase” right now with two new schemes being implemented. So the emphasis has been on fundamentals, technique, and communication.
However, whether it be through individual performances, where players were lined up, and what units they were working with, we do have more information now than we did a month ago. So let’s take an early swing at predicting how the Jaguars’ final roster turns out.
Quarterback (2):Â Trevor Lawrence, Nick Mullens

Some teams roster three quarterbacks, but until we see otherwise, I’ll assume the Jaguars keep just two. From a roster-building standpoint, that roster spot can be better utilized elsewhere.
Running back (4): Travis Etienne, Tank Bigsby, Bhayshul Tuten, LeQuint Allen
Across the NFL, keeping four running backs isn’t all that common. It can already be difficult to get three backs regular touches, let alone four, which means a roster spot is then going to a player who may not contribute all that much. But I think the Jaguars find a way to make it work, and don’t want to have Allen on the practice squad, where another team could claim him.
Wide receiver (5):Â Dyami Brown, Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Travis Hunter, Josh Cephus

With Hunter playing cornerback as well, keeping six wideouts makes sense. But numbers-wise, I couldn’t get the math to work out that way, so we went with five, especially with the top four on the depth chart dominating the snaps. Cephus was a name we heard often during OTAs and minicamp.
Tight end (4):Â Johnny Mundt, Hunter Long, Brenton Strange, Quintin Morris
This seems pretty straightforward. Perhaps the one decision here, if the Jaguars find themselves in a number crunch at another position, they could go light and keep only three tight ends, at which point, Morris would be left off.
Offensive line (10):Â Walker Little, Ezra Cleveland, Robert Hainsey, Patrick Mekari, Anton Harrison, Chuma Edoga, Cole Van Lanen, Fred Johnson, Wyatt Milum, Jonah Monheim

This is a very different offensive line room in 2025 after GM James Gladstone made six additions between free agency and the NFL draft. And with that comes a lot of roster turnover. The only returning linemen still on the roster are Little, Cleveland, Harrison, and Van Lanen. The Jaguars have embraced the competition component up front during offseason programs.

Defensive line (9):Â Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker, Dennis Gardeck, Dawuane Smoot, Arik Armstead, Maason Smith, Davon Hamilton, Emmanuel Ogbah, Tyler Lacy
Gladstone has made several veteran additions to the defensive end position since the NFL draft ended. While inside, Arik Armstead will return to tackle, along with the Jaguars expecting big steps from the other interior defenders in Anthony Campanile’s system.

Linebacker (5):Â Devin Lloyd, Foyesade Oluokun, Jalen McLeod, Ventrell Miller, Jack Kiser
With the additions of McLeod and Kiser, I left Muma off the final roster. I expect both McLeod and Kiser to take on large special teams roles, which was Muma’s primary responsibility. He is entering the final year of his deal and comes with a minimal dead cap hit if released.
Cornerback (5):Â Tyson Campbell, Jourdan Lewis, Jarrian Jones, Montaric Brown, De’Antre Prince
With Hunter also playing cornerback, I don’t see the need to keep more than five, unless someone really emerges over the summer.
Safety (6):Â Eric Murray, Darnell Savage, Antonio Johnson, Caleb Ransaw, Rayuan Lane, Andrew Wingard

I went quite heavy here, keeping six safeties, but even with the little we can glean from OTAs and minicamp, it’s difficult to know what the depth chart looks like behind Murray.
Special teams (3):Â Logan Cooke, Ross Matiscik, Cam Little
No questions here.
