Former Lisbon High School head coaches Mike Pavlansky (left) and Jim Tsilimos were inducted into the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association (OHSFCA) Hall of Fame on Friday night in Columbus. Tsilimos went 147-97 with the 1995 Division V state championship and six league titles in 25 years at Lisbon from 1990-2007 and 2011-2017. He is currently the head coach at Wellsville. Pavlansky was offensive coordinator at Lisbon under head coach Mike Ward in 1986 and 1987, helping the Blue Devils to two Tri-County League titles. He then served as head coach for the Blue Devils in 1988 and 1989 with 14-6 record and another TCL title. Pavlansky retired after 23 seasons as Canfield’s head coach, leading the Cardinals to 183 wins, including the 2022 Division III state championship and the 2005 Division II state runner-up.
