Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is often near the very top in most quarterback rankings.

Burrow’s name is usually up there alongside the likes of Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. A few other names usually rotate into or near the conversation depending on the year, highlighted by Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.

In the rankings from Chris Simms, Burrow sits in front of Mahomes, but behind Allen and Jackson, with the Ravens’ passer sitting first overall.

As one can probably imagine, the rankings caused some drama online and even for the crew debating them. They’re projected rankings, too, according to Sims’ film analysis and breakdowns.

If nothing else, it’s an interesting look at one person’s take on the quarterback hierarchy in the NFL. The only undeniable thing is that most NFL franchises that don’t make this list would jump at the opportunity to have Burrow or a handful of others at whatever the asking price.
