Saints headed back to Irvine, California for portion of training camp 2025
Ken, have you given any more thought as to how you want training camps structured and um if y’all went to California outside of joint practices, like, How long y’all would want to go? Yes. So, uh, we’ll start obviously in, in New Orleans in uh Meta, you know, specifically at our, at our facility. And so, uh, we’re really excited about that. We, we’ll be, you know, home, we’ll get into that routine. Uh, it’ll be really, really good. We will go to California, kind of tied around our, uh, Chargers preseason game. And so we’ll be there August 6th through August 15th for, uh, for *** small window. Just, I think, uh, you know, I think more importantly, it’s *** really good opportunity for us, uh, just to change, uh, You know, put the guys in *** little bit of *** different environment. Uh, you know, those guys will spend *** lot of time together naturally when you kind of go on ***, on *** longer road trip. And so, uh, we feel like that’s *** great opportunity for our team to continue to connect. Uh, we’ll change the environment and then after that game, uh, we’ll be back for two preseason games and more practices back here in, uh, in Louisiana. So, uh, we feel great about the, uh, opportunity that’s gonna provide. Will you guys go back to Irvine for the part that’s not the Chargers? Yes. Yeah, and for, for really for all that, we’ll, well, we have *** preseason game with the chargers, bro and that we’ll be um practicing, you know, similar to last year’s routine at UCI. But then the Chargers also have *** facility, so will you guys go over there or are they coming to we’re we’re just doing the preseason game with those guys, so, OK, so there’s not any joint practices, Scotty.

New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore announced Thursday the team will spend a portion of training camp 2025 in Irvine, California.The Saints will practice at the University of California, Irvine’s Crawford Field.Moore says the team will start training camp in Metairie then go to California from Aug 6-15. They’ll practice at Irvine again and face the Chargers in their first preseason game on Aug 10.
