LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — After taking the world by storm, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is back for a second season!
We sat down with a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Wendy Newman Hickingbotham, about her time dancing to Thunderstruck. She was a DCC from 1990-1994 and cheered during two Super Bowl wins.
“It was crazy, It was so amazing. Those were probably the best four years of my life up until I got married and had kids later in life,” Hickingbotham said.
She said the Netflix show is pretty spot on to her experience wearing the iconic blue and white uniform, and watching it was like going back in time.
Season two will be available to stream on Netflix June 18, 2025.
