The Baltimore Ravens may have had a few key veterans miss some or all of voluntary workouts like OTAs this month, players like quarterback Lamar Jackson and outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy, but the Ravens have perfect attendance at minicamp.
There was never a doubt. This is a mandatory period, and the Ravens have no players with contract drama.
The only players missing from mandatory minicamp have injuries in safety Ar’Darius Washington (achilles) and rookie tackle Emery Jones (shoulder). Washington tore his achilles during offseason conditioning with the Ravens. Jones has yet to practice with the Ravens since being drafted in April due to that shoulder injury.
Defensive backs Chidobe Awuzie and Beau Brade are on the practice field today for minicamp. That is big, because both left early the final week of OTAs with apparent leg/ankle injuries.
The Ravens are only on the field today and tomorrow for minicamp. They will then break for six weeks before the start of training camp late-July.
