The Kansas City Chiefs selected Ohio State Buckeyes offensive tackle Josh Simmons with the No. 32 pick in the 2025 NFL draft because of his upside as a blocker, not his artistic ability.
However, during a recent visit to the Chiefs’ team facilities in Kansas City after the draft, Simmons proved that he has a bit of a creative edge when given a rather odd task.
In a video that was posted to the Chiefs’ social media channels, Simmons was asked to draw Kansas City’s logo from memory, and did a rather impressive job.
Take a look at the full clip to see Simmons’ from-the-hip drawing:
While his rendering of the Chiefs’ iconic logo was far from perfect, Simmons’ success in fulfilling such an off-the-wall request may be indicative of his future prospects on Kansas City’s offensive line.
Stay tuned to see exactly how the Chiefs will use their Round 1 pick next season.
