New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is keeping football his primary focus, even with mandatory minicamp in the rearview.

The four-time Pro Bowler wants to make a strong impression in his first season with the Patriots, and that starts with his preparation for training camp. He is still rehabbing from the torn ACL injury he suffered last season, but his recovery up to this point has looked impressive and well ahead of schedule.

Like any player, there are always questions surrounding an athlete’s ability to bounce back from a devastating knee injury. The Patriots obviously believed in his talent and work ethic enough to sign him to a three-year, $69 million deal in the offseason.

In a recent Instagram post, Diggs admitted that football is taking precedence over everything.

“Trying find a balance between family and work but it seems like work is taking precedence over everything else..,” Diggs posted on Instagram.

Diggs is expected to be a key contributor to the Patriots’ offense.

There’s hope that he can even serve as the first legitimate No. 1 receiving option for second-year quarterback Drake Maye. Along with serving as an elite receiving target, Diggs could also help coach up some of the younger receivers on the roster.

He is obviously locked in and ready to show what he can do on the football field. That can only mean great things for the Patriots ahead of the 2025 season.
