The Arizona Cardinals drafted 12 players in 2024. Some of them had contributions as rookies. Some will have greater roles in 2025. Others will have to battle for the roster.

They selected receiver Tejhaun Palmer in the sixth round with the 191st overall pick.

Entering Year 2 in the NFL, let’s have a look at his 2025 outlook.

WR Tejhaun Palmer’s 2024 season

Palmer spent the entire season on the practice squad. He played 110 snaps during the preseason, 89 of those snaps on the outside and 21 in the slot. He caught four passes for 51 yards.

He was released before the season and re-signed to the practice squad, where he remains all 18 weeks of the season.

Tejhaun Palmer’s Year 2 outlook for 2025

2025 looks like, at best, another season on the practice squad. Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch and Zay Jones appear like locks for the first four spots. Xavier Weaver returns and the Cardinals signed Simi Fehoko. Palmer will have to beat at least one of them, depending on whether the Cardinals keep five or six receivers on the active roster.
