Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell took a break from work on Father’s Day to spend time with his family.
Campbell has been married to his wife Holly since 1999, the same year that he was drafted by the New York Giants. The happy couple shares two children together: son Cody and daughter Piper.

Back in January 2023, Piper posted a heartfelt message on Instagram for her father. This was after he led the Lions to a 9-8 season.
“This has been crazy. You have shown everyone what the lions are truly made of. You gave the city something to fight for and that this is not the ‘same old lions.’ I cannot wait to see what you do in the future, I know it will be big. I’m so proud of you and love you so much,” Piper wrote.

It turns out Campbell took a trip to the movie theater with his wife and kids this past Sunday to watch “How To Train Your Dragon.” It’s a live-action remake of the 2010 animated film.

“The best kind of day with our best Dad!! We watched dragons, ate too much, and had some grand dog time,” Holly wrote for her caption. “Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads!!!”
Several NFL fans commented on Holly’s latest Instagram post. They all had kind things to say about the Campbell family.
“The movies! Yes! The best,” one fan said.
“10/10 movie choice and 10/10 family,” a second fan wrote.
“I don’t have a Dad anymore, but glad to see Coach is living his best life today,” another fan said.
“You have a beautiful family coach. Hope you had a great Father’s Day. Can’t wait to see you on the field,” an Instagram user commented.
Campbell has been the head coach of the Lions since 2021. He’s coming off a season where he went 15-2.

The Lions lost defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson this offseason, so there’ll be added pressure on Campbell this fall.
On Sept. 7, the Lions will kick off their 2025 season on the road against the Packers.
