Rookie squad member Reece Weaver had already married her college sweetheart, Will Allman, by the time she made her debut on America’s Sweethearts. The former Alabama cheerleader told producers that she met her spouse at a Bama basketball game.
“I was just a college student going crazy at a basketball game,” Allman recalled. “A couple weeks later she actually slid into my DMs. That’s kind of a big flex: A now-Dallas Cowboys cheerleader slid into my DMs.”
The couple got engaged in 2023 and tied the knot almost exactly one year later on April 20, 2024. Weaver called their wedding “the best day of our lives” in an Instagram post. “My prayer was, ‘Lord, find me someone. I pray that that is my husband.’ And here we are,” she said during the docuseries.

Veteran cheerleader Kelcey Wetterberg is at the tail end of her career with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on season one of America’s Sweethearts. She is dating aspiring actor Nate Crnovich at the time; midway through the season, he decides to propose.
“What a surprise!!! Nate, you are the man of my dreams! You make life so bright and full of love,” Wetterberg later wrote in an Instagram post. The proposal was captured onscreen and was followed by a party with Wetterberg’s fellow cheerleaders.
After season one wrapped, the couple tied the knot on December 31, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska. “He’s kind, he’s charismatic, he’s empathetic,” Wetterberg said at one point during the series. “He’s my best friend.”

Though Victoria Kalina never mentions any love interest during season one of America’s Sweethearts, she shifts her focus to dating following her retirement from the squad. After living at home with her mother, who also happens to be a former Cowboys cheerleader herself, Kalina packs her bags for New York City in search of purpose—and love.
“I feel like since I went straight from high school to the Cowboys, this is my time that I’m finally going away for college, but for life now,” she told Glamour. “It’s definitely going to be different, but I seriously cannot wait.”
She continued, “Oh goodness. Is it silly? I’m excited to date.”
Madeline Salter

Madeline Salter experienced true heartbreak on season one of America’s Sweetheart’s after learning that her dad passed away in the middle of the NFL season.
“I just knew I had a job to fulfill,” the veteran squad member said on the show. “You’re here for a reason, and you need to do it. Dad had a saying growing up, ‘Someone’s gotta do it, might as well be you.'”
Since then, Salter has found love with fellow athlete Joe McBride, who plays baseball for the Utah Valley University Wolverines. The couple met on April 14, 2024 and began dating roughly four months later. “I love you and I’m so proud of you♥️” Salter wrote in a recent birthday tribute post.

Katherine Puryear, affectionately known as Kat, wrapped up her time with the Cowboys in 2023. The veteran has been plenty busy since then, regularly attending alumni events and posting her adventures with boyfriend Nigel Alexander to Instagram and TikTok. Most recently, the couple became homeowners with the purchase of a townhouse.
“I need all the japandi style inspo you can give me!” Puryear told her Instagram followers. “Mainly in the primary and then glam room inspo too 🤸”

After a whirlwind time at DCC training camp, Ari McClure did not make the squad in season one of America’s Sweethearts. She later revealed on Instagram that she had tried out successfully for the Miami Dolphins squad, however.
“If I’ve learned anything, it’s that everything happens for a reason and I couldn’t be more excited to announce I’m officially an NFL CHEERLEADER @dolphinscheer,” the dancer wrote.
Miami, it turns out, is also where McClure found love. The cheerleader made her new relationship with DJ Benjamin Lloyd Instagram official on March 6, 2025 with a carousel of images taken at We Belong Here, a music event in the city. “fangirling,” McClure wrote. She later called “dibs on the mayor of Brickell,” a cheeky reference to a neighborhood in Miami, with a series of loved up snapshots from a sunset boat ride with Lloyd.
