After the Los Angeles Rams wrap things up in Maui, they’ll head back home to California for summer break. They’ll have more than a month off until training camp begins, which is when position battles will really start to heat up.

On Wednesday, the NFL announced the start date for every team’s training camp in July and the Rams kick things off on July 22. That’s the day rookies and veterans will both report to Loyola Marymount, which is hosting training camp for the second straight year.

Only the Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers will report to camp later than the Rams; most teams will report on July 22, like Los Angeles.

Some teams stagger the report dates for rookies and veterans but the Rams will welcome all players on the same day. The full camp schedule hasn’t been released yet but there will surely be practices open to the public, as usual.
