The Denver Broncos are set to hold a rookie minicamp at their facility next week. In addition to their seven-player draft class and 15 undrafted free agent signings, the Broncos have also invited at least 23 players to tryout at the rookie camp.
The list of invites includes one quarterback, three running backs, two wide receivers/one tight end, six offensive linemen, two defensive linemen, one pass rusher, three inside linebackers, three safeties, one long snapper and one kicker.
Among the notable invites is former Cincinnati Bengals running back Chris Evans, who missed last season with a ruptured patellar tendon. Before that injury, Evans rushed 19 times for 89 yards while adding 19 receptions for 188 yards and three scores in his first three seasons in Cincinnati.
