The Cardinals announced the uniform numbers for their new additions and some changes.
It was numbers day for the Arizona Cardinals Wednesday. That’s as in uniform numbers for various players that have been added to the roster since the start of the new league year. There are also a few changes for players that were with the team at the end of the 2024 season.
The number assignments include veteran additions, draft choices and six undrafted rookies. This is a complete report.
One note is that as of Tuesday, the undrafted free agents weren’t officially signed and reported to the NFL.
Arizona Cardinals uniform number additions and changes
Most notable is that defensive lineman Calais Campbell will wear No. 93. To facilitate that, defensive lineman Justin Jones switched from 93 to 98.
Edge rusher Baron Browning switched from 53 to 5, while linebacker Vi Jones (the brother of wide receiver Zay Jones), who signed near the end of last season, will now wear 53 instead of 27.
