The first snap of the 2025 NFL season hasn’t been taken, yet the team at Pro Football Focus (PFF) is already busy looking ahead to the 2026 offseason and considering the directions a team could take while building its franchise.
The Tennessee Titans could go in many directions next offseason, with much of that being dictated by what transpires during the year. They enter 2025 with many unanswered questions on both sides of the ball, and the outcome is a complete unknown, likely being led by a rookie quarterback in Cam Ward.

Will the Titans take a step forward? Many outlets don’t believe that, and that puts head coach Brian Callahan on the hot seat. What happens with Callahan could sway many offseason decisions, casting a cloud over predictions about what Tennessee will do in 2026.
But what Trevor Sikkema of PFF did do was spot on with what is known moving forward: The Titans need to build around Cam Ward.
TENNESSEE TITANS: STARTING OFFENSIVE LINEMEN
The Titans handsomely paid Dan Moore Jr. in free agency, even though he has never earned a single-season PFF pass-blocking grade above 68.0 in his four-year career. The addition also allowed them to move J.C. Latham back to right tackle. Does that move work? Does Latham look better than the 61.8 PFF overall grade he recorded as a rookie at left tackle? Can Lloyd Cushenberry III get back to form after this Achilles injury? With rookie quarterback Cameron Ward now commanding the offense, Tennessee should be aggressive in getting its offensive line right.
Entering the 2025 offseason, the offensive line was arguably the most significant need for the Titans, and they addressed that with the signings of Dan Moore and Kevin Zeitler. Both free-agent acquisitions should be major upgrades over what they put on the field in 2024, but they do come with some long-term questions.
The biggest questions center on Moore, who was signed to a massive contract during the offseason. Never an elite tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers, he enters the season hoping to refine his technique and improve his game, protecting the blindside of the quarterback. Moore has shown improvement every season since entering the league and is a four-year starter on the left side, but he may have already hit his ceiling.

Tennessee only signed Zeitler to a one-year deal, and it is unknown whether the aging veteran will want to continue playing after another grueling NFL campaign. While they did select Jackson Slater in the draft, overall depth along the interior of the offensive line remains a question mark.
With an overall lack of quality depth along the offensive line, building out the trenches would be a viable path forward for general manager Mike Borgonzi as he enters his first full season steering the rebuilding of the roster. Tennessee could use help everywhere, and protecting the young quarterback would make perfect sense.
