The Aaron Rodgers waiting game may finally be nearing its end — at least according to writer and Steelers correspondent to The Pat McAfee Show, Mark Kaboly.

In Kaboly’s recent Steelers Mailbag on social media, he was asked when Rodgers would come “home.” Here was his answer:

“I assume you mean Pittsburgh when you say ‘home.’ I am glad you are finally listening to what I’ve said for two months now (I forgive you). I say May 22, but definitely before OTAs start on May 27.”

This matches GM Omar Khan’s comments on having four QBs on the roster ahead of offseason activities and training camp — and if accurate, would give Rodgers more than enough time to get acclimated with his new offensive weapons and teammates.

At the 2025 NFL Draft, Steelers President Art Rooney II expressed confidence that Rodgers would play for Pittsburgh in 2025, and it appears fans will know for certain ahead of the Steelers’ OTAs at the end of May.
