When the two get into open space, the much smaller man surprisingly lands a pair of clean shots on the Vikings legend. He then lands a couple more after Peterson can’t seem to keep his balance while charging at him. Eventually, the NFL vet gets his hands on the man and shows off his superior strength. But it doesn’t stop him from taking more strikes from his faster foe.
It’s a very surprising watch because Peterson is only 40 years old and a few years from being in NFL shape. Yet, this average Joe was surprisingly able to get the best of the former football star. It adds to the case that Peterson may be nowhere near as good a fighter as he is a football player.
The Minnesota legend faced fellow NFL alum Le’Veon Bell in a pro boxing fight three years ago. He was knocked out cold by the former Pittsburgh Steelers star in the fifth round.
