The Los Angeles Rams traded the 26th pick to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday and they were able to get a future first-round pick for their troubles. The Rams now have two first-round picks in 2026, which is expected to be much better when it comes to quarterbacks.
The Rams traded picks 26 and 101 to the Falcons in exchange for 46, 242, and Atlanta’s first-round pick in 2026.
For yet another year, Les Snead has traded the Rams out of the first round and they will not make a pick on day one.
Obviously the Rams do not feel that any players at pick 26 are too good to miss out on and without a second round pick in 2025 because of the Braden Fiske trade in 2024, obviously Snead wanted to add more capital later in the draft. With the 25th pick of the first round, the New York Giants drafted Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart. There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not the Rams would draft a quarterback in 2025, perhaps including Dart, but with the Giants taking the Rebels QB at 25 after trading up, could that have influenced Snead at all?
Probably not, but nonetheless there will be no Rams pick on Thursday night.
