ESPN NFL Analyst Condemns President Trump For Bombing Iran originally appeared on The Spun.
President Trump‘s actions regarding the recent bombings in Iran have been controversial to say the least, and one ESPN analyst decided to take him to task for it on X.
While much of his MAGA base supported the move to join Israel in the conflict, others have called the president out for turning his back on the antiwar stance he claimed to have had in the lead-up to his election.
Someone who really didn’t care for the decision was Ryan Clark, who aimed his misgivings at the people that voted Trump in. “Y’all wanted this!” the Super Bowl champion exclaimed. “Groceries still high than a bih too!!”
One of Clark’s former colleagues, Robert Griffin III, also took a strong stance against the president green-lighting the attacks. Saying, “Donald Trump just started World War III by bombing Iran. Pray for us all.”
On the other side of it, Auburn men’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl was very much in favor of the move. Sending a message to the twice-elected Republican commander-in-chief that his actions were courageous and that he “prevented a war.”
“Thank you Mr president for your strength and vision, keeping us safe. Proud of our troops!” Pearl shared. “You did what no one has had the courage to do for far too long. You were patient and clear. Pray for Peace through prosperity in the Middle East, expand now on the AA. You prevented a War.”

U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has lead the charge for Trump’s impeachment for his decision to drop bombs in the Middle East without congressional approval.
How far that goes remains to be seen. But it’s hard to imagine the topic of Iran won’t be on the minds of millions of Americans in the weeks and months to come.
