The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran quarterback Bailey Zappe on March 14, 2025.
Zappe was briefly a member of Kansas City’s practice squad last season before the ever-quarterback-needy Cleveland Browns signed him to their active roster on October 22, 2024.

A former Western Kentucky Hilltopper, Zappe rose to prominence as a collegian after his outstanding 2021 campaign, in which he threw for an FBS record 5,967 yards and 62 touchdowns.
He began his career in professional football with the New England Patriots, who selected him with the No. 137 pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft.
