The Chiefs have opened their nomination form for the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat, which honors individuals who go above and beyond in their community at each home game. The honoree sits in the golden seat and earns special recognition in front of the entire stadium. They also get a VIP pregame experience. The Chiefs encourage fans to nominate those who “represent the spirit of Lamar Hunt” and uphold the team’s values: “win with character, honor tradition, inspire fans and unite the community.” “We are continually in awe of what Chiefs fans do to support our community, and it’s that giving spirit that reflects just one of the many qualities that made our founder, Lamar Hunt, so special,” said Jayne Martin, Chiefs vice president of fan experience, in a news release. “We’ve been able to recognize so many extraordinary people over the years and we’re excited to open the nomination process for this unique honor and recognition during the 2025 football season.”The gold seats are located in section 121 of the lower bowl, which is under Lamar Hunt’s name in the Ring of Honor.
