Cooper Kupp may play for the Seattle Seahawks now but hasn’t forgotten about his former Los Angeles Rams teammates just yet.
Trainer Ryan Sorensen, who Kupp worked with during his time with the Rams, shared a photo this week of Cooper at The Village working out with Puka Nacua, Andrew Whitworth and Tyler Higbee. It’s the same spot Kupp and several Rams players trained at this offseason, including Jordan Whittington and even coach Sean McVay.
Leaving Los Angeles was a tough pill for Kupp to swallow and he made it clear he would’ve liked to remain with the Rams, so it’s understandable that he’d return to SoCal during summer break before training camp begins.
Kupp will get to face his former team twice a year as a member of the Seahawks, making his anticipated return to Los Angeles in Week 11 before the Seahawks welcome the Rams to Seattle in Week 16.
It’ll probably be emotional for Kupp to play at SoFi Stadium again as an opposing player but it’s a game he’ll certainly have circled on his calendar.
