The Atlanta Falcons still have a few weeks before players arrive for training camp and begin fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster. While the team has several new faces to integrate, there are a few dozen players who are virtual locks to make the initial roster.
At quarterback, we know Michael Penix Jr. will be there, but what about Kirk Cousins? Not only does the veteran QB have a cap hit of over $40 million, but he’s been at the center of multiple trade rumors throughout the offseason. Cousins making the team is certainly a possibility, however, it’s hard to consider him a lock at this point.
