The latest Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback drafted into the NFL, Jalen Milroe now knows what jersey number he will wear during his first season in the league.
Announced on Wednesday, Milroe will be wearing No. 6 during his first NFL season with the Seattle Seahawks, who drafted the Alabama quarterback with the No. 92 overall pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft.

At Alabama, Milroe wore two different numbers as a member of the Crimson Tide, with his No. 4 being the one he is likely remembered for most. However, prior to wearing No. 4, Milroe originally wore No. 2 as a true freshman during the 2021 season at Alabama before switching in 2022.
Milroe will be one-of-four former Alabama players suiting up for Seattle this upcoming season alongside defensive lineman Jarran Reed and cornerback Josh Jobe, as well as fellow 2025 NFL draft pick tight end Robbie Ouzts. The former Alabama tight end, whom Seattle selected with the No. 175 overall pick in the fifth round, will also wear No. 40, a change from his No. 45 with the Crimson Tide.
