CANTON — The Philadelphia Eagles are spotlighted in a new display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Current Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is a former Mount Union wide receiver who has risen to NFL stardom as head coach of two Eagles Super Bowl teams in the last three years. Philadelphia beat Kansas City 40-22 in Super Bowl 59 in February.

The display, in the Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery, acknowledges the Eagles’ wins in Super Bowl LIX and Super Bowl LII and their NFL championships won in 1948, 1949 and 1960.

Sirianni played for the Canton Legends in an arena league while he was launching his coaching career as a Mount Union assistant.

Videos spotlighting Sirianni and Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts are featured in kiosks near a collection of artifacts from Philadelphia’s championship teams.

Officially opening Friday, the Eagles exhibit will be in place until it is replaced by one honoring the next Super Bowl champion.
