With the NFL offseason in its quiet period, various topics emerge to the forefront of the news cycle. Earlier in the week, the Madden NFL 26 team and rookie rankings stole the spotlight; now, a flurry of fantasy football rankings is being released to help players slowly build their draft boards for the upcoming season.Â
Finding value in a receiving corps for a fantasy team can make the difference in a season. This can also be a challenge for fantasy football players. Matt Bowen embraced this challenge and came out with his list of 10 undervalued receivers heading into drafts, and his list includes one member of the Tennessee Titans.Â
Calvin Ridley – WR – Tennessee Titans
Ridley’s upside is tied to the play of rookie quarterback Cameron Ward, an accurate, high-RPM thrower with second-reaction ability. And I’m looking at Ward to boost the fantasy profile of Ridley, who had more than 1,000 yards receiving last season and 19 receptions of 20 yards or more despite a subpar Titans quarterback room.
Ridley will need to get more end zone targets (four last season), as his limited touchdown production contributed to only 11.7 fantasy PPG in 2024. But with the sudden movement skills to win at the top of the route and the juice to threaten down the field, Ridley is a three-level route runner who has the ability to produce WR2 numbers in Brian Callahan’s offense. Bet on the rookie quarterback here and take the draft value with Ridley.
Ridley is the top receiver in Nashville and has already shown some chemistry with quarterback Cam Ward during offseason workouts. This could be huge news for both Titans fans and fantasy players moving into the season. The Titans appear poised to be better on offense in 2025, and Ridley should be a big winner from the upgrades added around him, making him a solid prospect for fantasy owners.Â
