Over the years, the Seattle Seahawks have quietly built an undercover impressive coterie of celebrity fans. One of the most vocal is none other than actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Known for his chillingly fearsome performances in projects like The Walking Dead, Watchmen, and most recently in two Amazon Prime series’ The Boys and Invincible, the Seattle native can often be found enthusiastically live tweeting on gamedays when the Seahawks are playing.

On Thursday, JDM appeared on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football program to talk about the state of the Seattle Seahawks. Like with most of his fellow 12’s, JDM spoke glowingly about Seattle’s successful draft. Where he was most excited was of course with beginning to address the offensive line and picking quarterback Jalen Milroe.

JDM’s full comments on the draft can be seen in the video below:

JDM did begin his comments by briefly mentioning the coaching change from Pete Carroll to Mike Macdonald. He then further elaborated on his still strong feelings for the beloved Carroll. However, he did give Macdonald the highest possible compliment I think he could offer by saying Macdonald has some “Pete blood in him.”

No matter what happens, Carroll will always hold a special place in the collective heart of the 12th Man, and JDM speaks for everyone here.
