Earlier this week Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at Tight End University, an event created in 2021 by her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce along with tight end George Kittle and former star Greg Olsen with the goal of bringing the tight end community together for “an immersive three-day program.”
“Over the course of the summit, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more,” Tight End University said on its website. “In addition to current players, TEU also features several retired legends who provide attendees with the invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the game.”
During a concert for the event in Nashville on Tuesday, June 24, Swift hopped on stage to deliver a surprise performance of her Grammy-nominated song “Shake It Off.” After hearing Swift perform, Kittle couldn’t hold back his praise for the billionaire musician.
“Taylor couldn’t have been kinder, more nice and she was like, ‘You know, I think it might be fun to go sing Shake It Off’ and we’re like, ‘That’d be amazing. Twist my arm, Taylor, please,'” he said. “So we made that one work. She was fantastic! I mean for the venue that was maybe 1,000 people. That was the loudest 1,000 people I’ve ever heard in my life. It was an incredible experience. I think everybody had a lot of fun watching that.”
Fans were also left in disbelief at the surprise concert – and Kittle’s suggestion that no room of 1,000 people have been louder is justified on camera.
