Where does the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence land in Pro Football Focus’ fantasy football quarterback rankings heading into the 2025 NFL season?

PFF’s Jonathon Macri recently ranked and put each quarterback into a tier for the upcoming fantasy season. Lawrence found himself at the top of Tier 4, which was titled “Superflex starters.”

Overall, Lawrence was the 19th-ranked quarterback by PFF.

This offseason, a major priority for the Jaguars‘ organization has been making sure that there is balance around Lawrence so that he doesn’t have to be Superman on every play.

This started when the team hired Liam Coen, who brings a Sean McVay-style offense to Jacksonville. A foundational aspect of this offense is multiplicity, or throwing a variety of different looks at defenses to keep them off balance and guessing. Around the NFL, a number of quarterbacks have found success in similar systems.

“I really like it,” Lawrence said of Coen’s offense. “It has a lot of answers. It’s great. It puts a lot on the players, you have to know your stuff, but it gives you all the answers.

“You don’t feel like you’re stuck in a play that’s not set up for success,” Lawrence added. “We change the presentation a lot. We make a lot of things look the same. Without going into too much detail, there’s a lot of things I like about it.”

Along with the schematic changes coming to the Jaguars, GM James Gladstone also reshaped the offensive line unit by making six additions between free agency and the NFL draft. For any offense, consistency begins with the linemen providing a run game to lean on and time in the pocket for the passer.

Lastly, this Jaguars’ offense now has a lot more speed as well with the additions of Dyami Brown, Travis Hunter, and Bhayshul Tuten.

All of these changes should help elevate the play of Lawrence by taking some of the playmaking workload off his plate and putting him in a better position where his talents can take over.
