Stetson Bennett Gets Bad News With Rams After Team’s Latest Signing originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Los Angeles Rams have one of the better quarterback situations in the NFL.
The room is headlined by Matthew Stafford, who led the team to a Super Bowl title in 2021. Behind him is Jimmy Garoppolo, who once upon a time led the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance in 2019, and also led them to an NFC Championship appearance a couple of seasons after.

Before Thursday, Stetson Bennett was the only other quarterback in the room. Although he has never played, Sean McVay has been quite high on the former walk-on who led Georgia to back-to-back College Football Playoff titles.
However, the Rams added another quarterback to the mix on Thursday, signing 26-year-old Dresser Winn.

While this could just be the team adding another quarterback in the room for offseason workouts, this is Winn’s third stint with the team. He may have a chance to push Bennett for that third quarterback spot.
He played his college football at UT Martin, where in his senior season he threw for 2,904 yards with 18 touchdowns and 11 picks. After spending time in the CFL, Winn played ball in the UFL for the Memphis Showboats.

In four starts for the Showboats, he passed for 834 yards with three touchdowns and four interceptions.
