The 2025 NFL top 100 rankings will debut on June 30th. How many Indianapolis Colts players could make the list?
The NFL is set to unveil its list of the top 100 players for the 2025 NFL season, as voted on by the players, beginning on June 30th.
So, how many Indianapolis Colts players could appear on the rankings this year?
The unveiling of this list will go from June 30th through August 29th, with two new players being revealed each weekday as the countdown goes from No. 100 down to No. 1.
The player reveals will take place on X at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM ET on weekdays and feature a three to five-minute video about each member on the list.
Which Indianapolis Colts players could make the NFL’s top 100 list in 2025?
Last season, linebacker Zaire Franklin was the only member of the Colts to make this list. He came in at No. 100.
Franklin should again be in consideration with him coming off a second-team All-Pro season in 2024, which included him leading the NFL in tackles.
Along with Franklin, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner is a prime candidate for this list, as is left guard Quenton Nelson. By PFF’s metrics, Buckner was one of the more disruptive defensive tackles in the game last season, while Nelson made another Pro Bowl and was a second-team All-Pro.
Following a bounce-back season by Jonathan Taylor, who finished fourth in rushing yards in the NFL, he could certainly have received some votes for these rankings as well.
Lastly, I’ll also mention Cam Bynum, who has had very good ball production over the last two seasons and has filled a variety of roles in the Minnesota secondary. Charvarius Ward, meanwhile, is one year removed from an All-Pro season in 2023, while Bernhard Raimann continues to improve and, by PFF’s metrics, was one of the better tackles in 2024.
Now, with all that said, while these players may be the best candidates on this Colts team, not all will make it. I would say that Franklin, Buckner, and Nelson are the most likely to land on this list.
