BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The attorneys for 13 victims accusing former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker of sexual misconduct held a press conference on Friday morning.
It was held at the offices of of Schlachman, Belsky, Weiner & Davey, P.A. at 10:00 a.m. on June 27 in Baltimore.
The Ravens released Tucker in early May after accusations emerged from over a dozen women accusing him of inappropriate behavior at spas across Baltimore between 2012 and 2016.
Tucker has previously denied the allegations, calling them “unequivocally false.”
NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy confirmed to our media partners at The Baltimore Sun when Tucker was released that the league’s investigation into the allegations remained ongoing.
On Thursday, the NFL announced that Tucker will be suspended for the first 10 weeks of the 2025 NFL season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Tucker’s suspension takes effect on August 26, the day NFL teams are required to cut their rosters down for the regular season. He will be eligible for reinstatement on November 11.
Tucker remains unsigned since being released by the Ravens. Should he sign with a team, he is allowed to participate in training camp practices and preseason games. He can also serve his suspension while being a free agent.
During the press conference on Friday, attorney Michael Belsky said, “Apparently, Mr. Tucker has elected not to appeal or challenge these findings because he wants to ‘put the situation behind him.’ In the same statement, however, he continues to deny wrongdoing, and consequently leaves many of the victims, our clients, with the stain of a denial.”
“Let us be clear — the NFL conducted an incredibly thorough and thoughtful investigation. They sat in this conference room for days upon days listening to the same story told over and over again by different women. They looked at corroborating evidence, including prompt reporting of the incidents and other support evidence. Massage therapy is a noble, respected, professional field. Many NFL players use therapy to help them professionally, and it is not okay for anyone, let alone someone in the position of notoriety or power, to treat massage therapy as anything but that. My clients are happy that the NFL investigation has validated their experiences,” Belsky said.
