Let’s take a closer look at this Indianapolis Colts team as we go player-by-player through the roster. Up next is OT Marshall Foerner.

With offseason programs now behind us, we will be getting a jump start on our training camp preview by going player-by-player through the Indianapolis Colts’ 91-man roster.

Going alphabetically, up next is UDFA offensive tackle Marshall Foerner.

Marshall Foerner’s profileHeight: 6-6Weight: 308Age: 24NFL experience: RookieCollege: Minnesota StateNo. 64Marshall Foerner’s college career

Foerner signed with the Colts after the 2025 NFL draft as an undrafted rookie, and he is the latest highly athletic, small-school prospect that we’ve often seen GM Chris Ballard gravitate towards during his tenure.

Over six seasons at Minnesota State, Foerner made 42 starts and appeared in 46 total games. During the 2024 season, Foerner was named a second-team All-American, helping the Mavericks’ offense rush for 2,592 yards and 32 touchdowns, according to the team site.

Foerner is a very good athlete. His 10-yard split and testing numbers in the vertical and broad jumps showcase his explosiveness, while he also has a lot of power, putting up 28 reps on the bench press.

Looking ahead to the 2025 season

When it comes to the tackle position, the Colts are pretty well-established here. Bernhard Raimann will be starting at left tackle, and Braden Smith will be at right tackle, while fourth-round pick Jalen Travis and presumably Blake Freeland will provide depth.

There’s also some NFL experience on the depth chart behind those four players, with Luke Tenuta and Jack Wilson on the roster as well.

So for Foerner, this means that his likely landing spot as a rookie is the practice squad, where he can continue to grow and develop his game, something that is likely needed with him making a big jump from the DII college level to the NFL.
