PFF ranked all 32 teams’ LB units. The NFC West has three teams in the bottom 10.
The offseason of lists and rankings continues as we wait for training camps to begin. These rankings are from PFF, lining up the linebacker units for all 32 NFL teams.
We know that the Arizona Cardinals‘ group is not highly rated, but how do they stack up against their division rivals in the NFC West — the LA Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.
Below are the team rankings for the division.
NFL LB unit rankings: NFC West teamsSan Francisco 49ers: No. 7Seattle Seahawks: No. 24LA Rams: No. 26Arizona Cardinals: No. 29Analysis
It is no surprise that the 49ers are near the top, as they have arguably the best linebacker in the NFL in Fred Warner. The low rankings of the rest of the division are a change from years past, as Seattle has not yet recovered from moving on from Bobby Wagner and K.J. Britt. They now have Ernest Jones, who has been good but somehow got traded from the Rams to the Tennessee Titans to the Seahawks. He was re-signed this offseason but is recovering from offseason knee surgery.
The Cardinals have the least proven group of the division.
