As NFL teams continue to tweak their rosters after the completion of the NFL Draft last week, the Las Vegas Raiders have made an addition.

On Thursday, Las Vegas announced the signing of free agent and former New York Giants wideout Collin Johnson. Terms were not disclosed.

Johnson was drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he signed a four-year, $3.6 million deal but was cut the following season.

The Giants claimed him off waivers in Sept. 2021.

Johnson appeared in 12 games for the Giants that season with one start, and caught 11 balls on 21 targets for 105 yards and no touchdowns.

The following offseason, the former Texas Longhorn tore his Achilles in the offseason, and after missing the entire 2022 season, he was placed on waivers by the Giants. Johnson was then signed to the Chicago Bears’ practice squad.

Johnson has recorded six tackles on special teams and has totaled 31 receptions for 394 yards and two touchdowns across 38 games with three NFL starts.

Johnson will join an already crowded wideout room in Las Vegas that includes Alex Bachman, Jack Bech, Jeff Foreman, Shedrick Jackson, Tyreik McAllister, Jakobi Meyers, Kyle Phillips, Dont’e Thornton Jr., Tre Tucker and Kristian Wilkerson.

The Raiders have made several changes to the organization this offseason as Tom Brady takes over as minority owner and Pete Carroll is the new head coach.

Geno Smith will take over under center after being traded from the Seattle Seahawks.
