BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Colton McKivitz is returning to his roots this weekend to support his high school alma mater.

McKivitz is set to host his inaugural golf classic on Saturday at Belmont Hills Country Club.

The event has already sold out, with 28 teams participating and a waiting list in place, along with a substantial list of hole sponsors. McKivitz has collaborated with Dave Phillips of the Union Local Touchdown Club to organize the event, aiming to give back to the school as he embarks on his sixth NFL season with the 49ers.

Proceeds from the first Colton McKivitz Golf Classic will be directed towards enhancing the weight room at Union Local High School.
