Happy Sunday Husky fans. With summer official visits in the rear view mirror the Husky staff is working on trying to add a few more pieces to their 2026 class. Here is a look at a few prospects who should decide soon that the Huskies are after:

4 star defensive lineman T.I. Umu-Cais from Cherry Creek HS, CO recently narrowed his list of schools to a top 5 which included UW, Oklahoma, Colorado, UCLA and North Carolina. The Huskies desperately need to try and land some top end talent across the defensive line. After missing on some of their top targets the Huskies would really like to add Umu-Cais to their 2026 as a true interior defensive lineman. We should hear soon about his decision and I would expect the Huskies are at or near the top of his recruitment.

4 star edge Landon Barnes from Duncanville HS, TX narrowed his recruitment to a top 3 of UW, Ole Miss, and Ohio State. The Huskies hosted Barnes earlier in June for an official visit and have been after him for a while. Rated as the 21st best edge the Huskies are also looking for a true rush edge to disrupt the passer and Barnes would fit that for them. It’s hard to tell who leads for Barnes but it’s a good sign for the Huskies that they are in the final three for the talented edge. We will find out tomorrow as Barnes is set to announce his decision.

3 star offensive lineman Pulelei’ite Primus from Midland HS, TX also narrowed his recruitment to a top 3 recently. The Huskies made the cut after hosting him for an official visit last weekend. Primus who is rated as the 39th best interior offensive lineman in the country will now commit on July 19th and choose from Houston, Vanderbilt, and UW. The Huskies are looking at adding another offensive lineman to their 2026 class and Primus would fit the mold of a true interior offensive lineman. With 3 offensive lineman already in the class the Huskies would love to add Primus to their class and wrap up Oline recruiting.

That is all for today and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
