When it comes to the Seattle Seahawks, they are often discredited and/or outright ignored by the national media landscape. We at Seahawks Wire have been banging this drum for quite some time, especially when it comes to the fact the media (yet again) is seemingly sleeping on Seattle. Another year, another offseason of predicting the Seahawks are going to be among the the lower end of the league… despite history routinely showing us the team often “surprises” those who do not reside in the Pacific Northwest.
However, it appears there may be one outlet who isn’t hitting the snooze button when it comes to Seattle. Pro Football Focus (PFF) recently shared on their Twitter account a brief video explaining why choosing to write the Seahawks off in 2025 may not be the correct move.
While we at Seahawks Wire are a little more bullish on the team this year than others, we also have routinely recognized the fact Seattle took massive swings. Deciding to move on from Geno Smith and DK Metcalf are decisions that can only be described as gambles. the Seahawks had to try something new to break through the stagnation they’d been in for the last three seasons, but only time will tell if these moves pay off.
Still, we are more than a little optimistic in the direction this team is headed in, and while it is not needed, it is nice to see an outlet like PFF share similar sentiments.
