BUTTE, Mt. — BUTTE, Mont. — Just over two months after hearing his name called in the seventh round of the NFL Draft, Junior Bergen has returned to Montana. Bergen, who was selected by the San Francisco 49ers with their final pick, made a name for himself at Montana as an elite return man.

Bergen found himself back in Butte, assisting his current special teams coach, Colt Anderson. Anderson, a former Montana Grizzly who played safety in the mid-2000s, is a Butte native and hosts an annual Dream Big Skills Camp to give back to the local community.

Anderson has long recognized Bergen’s professional potential. Now, these two former Grizzlies are hoping to transfer Bergen’s special team talent from the Big Sky to the big league.
