The Tennessee Titans had visions of a dominant secondary when they traded for cornerback L’Jarius Sneed last offseason.
After sending a third- and seventh-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Sneed, the Titans then signed him to a four-year deal worth $72 million. Unfortunately for Sneed and the Titans, the lockdown corner appeared in just five games before a quad injury claimed the rest of his season.

In a recent interview with NBC 6 News, Sneed gave an update on his health and the plan he has for the upcoming campaign.
“I’m healthy. I’m healthy as I’ve been,” Sneed said, via Buck Reising. “Last year, my first year, didn’t go as planned, but, you know, it’s time to come out and show the world what God’s been instilling in me this entire year. I’m ready to get back on the field, that’s my life, that’s what I do for a living. I missed the whole year and have to remind everybody who L’Jarius Sneed is.”
During those five games, Sneed failed to record an interception while allowing a 91.8 passer rating and 54.2% completion rate on 24 targets.
The Titans’ secondary will need the 28-year-old to return to form in Dennard Wilson’s defense in 2025. With Cam Ward taking over leadership of the offensive side of the ball, the Titans are relying on Sneed to be a major force on defense.

The Titans didn’t make any significant moves to the cornerback room this offseason, so they are certainly planning for Sneed to reprise his role as a lockdown cornerback.
