The New York Giants are trading Darren Waller to the Miami Dolphins after the veteran tight end decided to unretire following a year away from the game.

In exchange for Waller and a seventh-round pick in the 2027 NFL draft, the Giants will receive a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. That gives the team seven current picks next April.

Those picks are as follows:

The Giants traded their 2026 third-round selection and second- and third-round picks in the 2025 NFL draft to the Houston Texans in exchange for pick No. 25 overall this past April, which was used to select quarterback Jaxson Dart.

An additional sixth-round pick was gained from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick and defensive lineman Jordan Phillips.

The current lot of picks assumes the Giants do not receive any compensatory picks in the 2026 draft. None are currently projected.
