The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA) and Legends/ASM Global have named Shannon Kelly as the new general manager of the U.S. Bank Stadium. the home of NFL team the Minnesota Vikings.
Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Kelly graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University before returning to her home state to join the stadium in 2018 following a decade with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment in Denver, Colorado.
More recently, Kelly has served as the U.S. Bank Stadium’s director of events in a role that has included leading event management and logistics.
Legends/ASM Global has also promoted the venue’s former general manager John Drum to the new post of regional vice-president. In his new position, he will oversee six NFL Stadiums (U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN; Soldier Field in Chicago, IL; State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ; NRG Stadium in Houston, TX; Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA), along with the Sanford Center in Bemidji, MN and the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
Drum says: “I am looking forward to working the management teams of eight venues as a regional vice president with our organization.

The U.S. Bank Stadium was ranked first in the NFL’s Voice of the Fan Survey for the 2024 season under both John Drum and Shannon Kelly’s leadership, and with support of the entire Legends/ASM Global management team, the Minnesota Vikings, and U.S. Bank Stadium partners.
