In an apparent bid for clicks, The New York Times has put together a list of “The Most Stylish People of 2025, So Far” and you’ll never guess which 24-year-old beauty pageant contestant who’s dating a famous football coach made the cut. OK, maybe you will.

That’s right, according to the tastemakers at The New York Times, Jordon Hudson, the much-younger girlfriend of former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, is one of 33 people “whose style has shaped the look of 2025” over the past six months.

Calling her an “overnight sensation,” the Times online feature includes a photo of Hudson in a blue sequined minidress with a coral-reef print and clutching a lobster-shaped handbag. (If you haven’t heard, Hudson grew up on the Maine coast and is very concerned about the state’s fishing industry.)

So who else makes the Times’s highly arbitrary “most stylish” list? Oh, let’s see: “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member Jennifer Tilly; TikToker Addison Rae; actor and New York Knicks superfan Timothee Chalamet; Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan; French Open champion Coco Gauff; “Hacks” actress Kayla Schaeffer; NBA champ Shai Gilgeous-Alexander; Pope Leo XIV; and so on.

Get Starting Point

A guide through the most important stories of the morning, delivered Monday through Friday.

While she’s been in Belichick’s orbit for at least four years, Hudson and the 73-year-old coach went Instagram official in October 2024. Ever since, they’ve been more or less inseparable, appearing together at a Thanksgiving gathering hosted by President Trump at Mar-a-Lago; and at various Super Bowl events in February. In May, Belichick was also in the front row at the Miss Maine USA pageant in Portland, where he watched Hudson pose in a two-piece swimsuit and an evening gown. She finished third.

Hudson’s ubiquity has sometimes been an issue. In the spring, while Belichick was promoting his new book, she interrupted a CBS interview because she didn’t like a question about how the pair met. (“We’re not talking about this,” she said off camera.) Also, a planned HBO documentary about Belichick’s first season as coach at the University of North Caroline was called off because Hudson insisted on being heavily involved.

Although she’s active on Instagram, Hudson hasn’t posted about the Times piece. Not yet, at least.
