CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Bengals have played 25 seasons in Paycor Stadium since it opened in 2000 and with that as the backdrop I am subjectively counting down the top 25 players to play for the team in that time frame.

The only criteria is the player must have played at least three seasons for the team this century and their performance with the team is the only thing considered, not performance with other teams either prior to, or after, playing for the Bengals.

An alphabetical list of 25 other players considered will be revealed when No. 1 is released on July 18.

Here are players who are ranked No. 20 and No. 21 on the list with links to previous players revealed at the bottom:

No. 21: K Shayne Graham

Years with Bengals: 2003-2009

The Skinny: He is the franchise record holder for career field goal percentage at 86.76 percent, and also ranks second in points scored with 773.

Graham set the single season franchise record for field goal percentage, making 91.18 percent of his attempts (31 of 34) in 2007, and the single-game franchise record for most field goals when he made seven on Nov. 11, 2007 at the Baltimore Ravens.

He also holds the two longest streaks of made field goals at 21 (in 2007) and 17 (over the end of the 2005 season and start of the 2006 season).

Graham earned a Pro Bowl spot and was selected second team All-Pro in 2005 when he made 28 of 32 attempts and all 47 extra-point attempts.

No. 20: S Reggie Nelson

Years with Bengals: 2010-15

The Skinny: He started 83 of 93 regular-season games he was healthy for the team in his six seasons, including all 77 over his final five seasons, and also started all five playoff games he played for the Bengals as well.

Nelson served as an underrated, but key cog on five straight playoff defensive units from 2011-15. He tied for the most interceptions in the NFL with eight in 2015, landing his lone Pro Bowl berth and was also a second team All-Pro selection that season, as well.

Nelson intercepted 23 passes in his six seasons with the team, which is the sixth most in franchise history.
