New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye doesn’t post on social media often, but given the current excitement in his life, it isn’t surprising that he took some time to share with his followers how he’s feeling ahead of training camp.
Maye recently got married during the offseason break, and he is currently preparing for his second NFL year with a brand new coach and offensive coordinator. So much has changed for the Patriots since Mike Vrabel took over as head coach and de facto decision-maker.

The Patriots went from having one of the worst rosters in the league to receiving various upgrades at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. There is a different kind of enthusiasm emanating from Foxborough this year. Maye can obviously feel it, as evidenced by his social media post on Wednesday.
“Immaculate Vibes,” Maye posted.
The Patriots improved the offensive line after a disastrous 2024 season by using the No. 4 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft on offensive tackle Will Campbell and a third-round pick on center Jared Wilson. They also brought in veteran tackle Morgan Moses and center Garrett Bradbury.

At receiver, they signed four-time Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins and drafted rookie Kyle Williams.
There is still more work to do on the roster, but so far, it’s a night-and-day comparison of what the unit looked like last year. Maye should have “immaculate vibes” knowing that he’ll actually have a fighting chance this season.
