Here’s a look at the Sylvania Rams schedule for the 2025 season. The Rams will also be lead by new Head Coach Brad Waldrop. Waldrop comes to Sylvania after a season as an assistant at Boaz.
Sylvania will travel to Cedar Bluff on Aug. 15 for the preseason jamboree.
The first regular season game for the Waldrop era will be a road trip to Stevenson to take on the North Jackson Chiefs on Aug 22. Sylvania fell to the Chiefs in a close game in 2024, 14-6. The Rams have never beaten North Jackson; they are 0-3 all time.
Sylvania will have an open week on Aug 29. Following the open week the Rams will make back-to-back road trips, first to Holly Pond on Sept. 5, and then to Geraldine on Sept. 12. The game against the Bulldogs will mark the return to Geraldine for Waldrop, who was the Head Coach for the Bulldogs from 2015-2020. The Rams have won five in a roll against the Bulldogs. The last time Geraldine beat Sylvania, Brad Waldrop was the head coach.
The Rams return home on Sept. 19 against Whitesburg Christian in the first of three straight home games for Sylvania.
On Sept. 16 the Plainview Bears make the short drive to Sylvania for a battle between two rivals. Then to start the month of October, the Rams will host the Fyffe Red Devils on Oct. 3. Sylvania will look for its first win over Fyffe since 2005.
Sylvania will travel to Collinsville on Oct. 10 and then to Asbury on Oct. 17. The Rams will close out region play when they host the Brindlee Mountain Lions on Oct. 24.
The final game of the regular season will be played on Tuesday Oct 30. Sylvania will host the Pisgah Eagles to close the regular season.
